Women in Design 2019 Awards
The winners of AWDA 2019 is ready. Norway got a Special Mention in the Professionals Category, congratulations to Svanhild Vindenes Egge and Maria Bono!
Aiap in partnership with ico-D has announced the winners of AWDA – Aiap Women in Design Award 2019. The Award Ceremony was held on 8 November in Tepidarium of Roster in Florence, Italy. It started with the institutional greetings of the representatives of the City of Florence and was followed by short speeches given by international guests.
The final selection awarded one AWDA 2019 first prize, three honourable mentions (one for each category), and five special mentions and also two special awards: Career Award for Historic Achievement and Lifetime Achievement Award.
Grafill is one of the partners of AWDA, the first global award dedicated to women in design. Maria Sætre, design leader of Making Waves and a board member of Grafill Fund, was part of the international Women in Design jury in 2019.
