ED-Awards Nominations 2020

Norway is the leading country in the number of nominations with 39 projects. Congratulations to all the nominees!

European Design Awards is an annual awards program for the best communication design in Europe. For the first time in its 14 years the results will not be announced in a ceremony. This year’s ED-Festival was scheduled to take place in Valencia, but due to the coronavirus outbreak the events had to be cancelled. The juries however have had their deliberations made and their decisions will be announced shortly.

The first stage of these announcements however is the publication of the nominee shortlists. Just like last year, there are 230 nominees spread out in the 44 categories.

The leading country in the number of nominations is not Germany nor the Netherlands (as is usually the case), but Norway with 39 projects which in the second round will have a Gold, Silver, Bronze or Finalist distinction.
