Grafill Animasjon has the great pleasure to host Mike Hill for the first time and give you the unique possibility to join his masterclass October 13th at R21, Oslo!
Mike Hill is a concept artist, creative director, level designer and IP consultant. His craftsmanship is wanted by the biggest names in the film and games industry as well as NASA! Among the wide range of projects he has worked on are titles like: Blade Runner 2049, Game of Thrones, Mad Max Fury Road, Call of Duty Infinite Warfare, Killzone and Horizon Zero Dawn as well as developing the IP and the TV series "Love, death and robots" for Netflix.
In his masterclass he will explain the hidden mechanics that are essential to achieve a rich and cinematic experience. How does film design and storytelling theory help you reach your audience on a deeply psychological level.
With a keen eye for subtleties Mike will lead us through the process of successful brand developing and level design, as well as the power of strong narratives.
