The Ventriloquist Summerschool 2016 08.-13.08
This year’s edition of The Ventriloquist Summerschool will be busy looking into the role of Illusion as a way of being, working and generating knowledge. What's involved in accepting, rejecting, validating and iterating such constructs and how do we use them to project and deal with what's in front and ahead of us?
Five parallel workshops will run during the week at 1857 – a former lumberyard located in the Grønland area, along with a public programme of three evening lectures (names tbc).
The 35 selected participants will get time, space and infrastructure to develop their own projects.

The 2015 edition of The Ventriloquist Summerschool attracted applicants (professionals and students) from 17 countries and institutions such as Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo, Westerdals, Royal College of Art and University of Brighton (UK), ISIA Urbino (IT), Gerrit Rietveld Academie and Sandberg Institute (NL), Yale University, Princeton University, Cranbrook Academy of Art and Pratt Institute (USA), among others.
