– We are happy and honored to have Hennig-Olsen Is to collaborate with us for this year’s EPDA Award Future Packaging. The theme “Ice cream for senior citizens of tomorrow” truly is a great challenge for designers, says Claudia Josephs, General Manager of EPDA - The European Brand & Packaging Design Association. As the market of silver agers is growing increasingly, Hennig-Olsen Is and EPDA have decided to put the focus of the competition on the needs of this prosperous target group.
– With their deep knowledge and extensive experience Hennig-Olsen Is supports designers with interesting and important insights. Hennig-Olsen Is will be represented in the international jury team of design experts to reflect the brand’s perspective.
Designers from all over Europe are invited to take part in the competition, be it professional agencies, design students or individual professionals.
– I hope that both Norwegian and other European designers and agencies use this opportunity to participate in this prestigious design award in the European arena, says Merete W. Haugå, Marketing Manager at Hennig-Olsen Is.
Hennig-Olsen Is doesn’t put any restraints on the design process itself.
– It’s important that we give the designers freedom and opportunity to create something completely new, says Haugå.
The deadline to submit entries is 15 August.
The winning teams will be celebrated during the award ceremony on October 10 – the night before the EPDA Meet & Greet Conference in Glasgow, Scotland.
