Legal Assistance
One of Grafill's most important duties is to strengthen the rights for designers in Norway. It is our goal that visual communicators can live a comfortable and sustainable life working in their chosen fields.
Although we work to create better working conditions for designers in nearly everything we do, some of our most important projects happen in the political and judicial spheres. Politically, we prioritise developing strong relationships with our partner organisations and authorities both in Norway and internationally to achieve greater results and influence in political cases.
Grafill also offers free legal advice for those who seek it. Grafill has two lawyers on staff in house who you can get in touch with if you ever have an issue - their contact information is found below.
Lawyer Christian Wadahl Uhlen and legal assistant Marie Grønvik are bound by confidentiality and any correspondences remain anonymous. Members of Grafill are offered up to two hours free consultation per case, and non-members can ask simple and/or general questions free of charge (up to 15 minutes). Christian er Grafills advokat og har over ti års erfaring som rådgiver og advokat innen opphavsrett og bistand til kunstneriske utøvere. Han har ansvaret for det generelle juridiske arbeidet i Grafill, jobber mye med vederlagsmidler, og er også en del av rådgiverteamet i Grafill. Christian har juridisk embetseksamen fra Universitetet i Oslo og Master of Laws (LL.M.) fra King’s College, London, med fordypning i opphavsrett. Medlemmer kan kontakte Christian direkte for juridisk bistand.

Marie er advokatfullmektig i Grafill, og rådgir medlemmer om arbeidsrettslige forhold. Hun har bred juridisk erfaring, og god kompetanse på avtalerett og mye innsikt i EØS-rett. Marie har en Master i rettsvitenskap ved Universitetet i Oslo, og en Bachelor i sosialt arbeid (sosionom).
