As an international portfolio competition, this is a unique award in that it judges the body of work of each candidate's portfolio—not judging just a single project, but a selection of professional and personal work. Eric’s portfolio focuses on selected professional and personal branding and illustration projects from the past 3 years.

This years diverse jury has raised the bar in it’s selection process for what ADC is calling the most “exclusive class” in Young Guns history, only selecting 19 members from an international pool of hundreds of applicants.

Nicole Jacek, Chair of the Young Guns 13 Committee, about this years selection: “Young Guns is not about meeting a quota of winners, but awarding individuals that we unanimously agreed would be the next generation of cultural changing creatives. This class may be small, but the talent is undeniable.”

With the goal of identifying the brightest young professionals across a multitude of creative disciplines, ADC Young Guns has become more than just a competition—it has become a prestigious community of rebellious creative prodigies and rising stars. Previous winners include Stefan Sagmeister, Jessica Walsh, Emily Oberman, James Victore, Alex Trochut.
