Grafill Moving Image is proud to host two workshops with digital painter Nikolai Lockertsen (Nikko), who is one of the leading artists in "Dreams".

The weekend starts with a lecture, showing the immense possibilities of Procreate Dreams. This lecture is open for everybody and you can join via stream.

Grafill Moving Image is offering a variety of options, so please read carefully and choose the event that works best for you!
 
Beginner's Lecture, Saturday June 22nd, 09.00–10.00.
Join a quick one-hour lecture about the basics of Procreate Dreams. This event is free for everyone to join online. However, only those who are attending the workshop on Saturday are given space at the physical event. 
 
Beginner's Workshop, Saturday June 22nd, 10.00–16.00. Only 15 spots available.
This workshop is for those who want to finally get to know the app Procreate Dreams. We have 15 seats available and the workshop is designed to be a intensive class where you meet up at Grafill´s spaces at Møllergata 39, Oslo. Nikko will lead you through the whole set up (both the simple and advanced version) and you will get started with your first animations. By choosing this option, you are also given a free space to the lecture from 09:00 - 10:00 at Grafills Hus. Lunch, snacks, tea and coffee will be provided.
 
Intermediate Workshop, Sunday June 23rd, 10.00–16.00. Only 15 spots available.
This workshop is for those who know the program, but wants to refine your skills. This can also work as a good combo for those who have joined a 1-day workshop before and want to "know it all". The workshop focuses on expanding & sharpening your skill set.

Nikko will provide you with a collection of his own art to kickstart you with a more advanced scene in Procreate Dreams.  Lunch, snacks, tea and coffee will be provided.

ABOUT NIKKO:

Nikolai Lockertsen is a concept artist, illustrator and animator based in Norway. He has worked in the film industry for over 25 years, including a seven-year stint as the lead art director at Storm Studios, a leading Scandinavian VFX studio.

In addition to his film work, Nikolai also illustrates books, promotional commercial art, and more for clients from all over the world.

Nikolai is a pioneer of iPad art, having done all of his personal and professional work since 2012 on iPad using the painting and animation apps, Procreate & Procreate Dreams. He teaches his techniques online, at art and film schools, and holds lectures and demos worldwide.
