Kaibosh eyewear burst to life in Bergen, Norway in 2013 with the aim of creating a multi-channel eyewear experience where design plays a leading role in the entire concept. Co-founders Helge Flo and Michelle Rowley tell about their experience creating the brand which is stocked in leading international fashion and lifestyle stores, on-line at Kaibosh.com and soon-to-be launched Kaibosh signature spaces in Bergen and Copenhagen.

Rune Spaans - "The Absence of Eddy Table"

"The Absence of Eddy Table", is the title of the short 3D animation film that results from collaboration between Cartoonist Dave Cooper and Designer and Director Rune Spaans. In this presentation Spaans will be talking about adapting the lush style of Dave Cooper to 3D animation.

Lasse A. Scherven og Pia Halvorsen will present Bold magazine, a new Norwegian magazine about creative and strategic process, which portrays a designer’s role in society seen from a sociological point of view.

Martin Eia-Revheim is the entrepreneurial mind behind Sentralen, the future creative hub for the city. In his presentation Martin will talk about the concept behind Sentralen and the adventure of turning this idea into reality.

"Etter 115 år som bank gjøres gamle Christiania Sparebank nå om til Sentralen, et møtested og en arbeidsplass for kulturproduksjon og samfunnsinnovasjon. Kulturbyen Oslo har flere sjangerhus og programmerte kulturscener, og innovasjonsbyen Oslo har flere treffsteder for oppstartsbedrifter. Det Oslo mangler er et sjangerblindt og tverrsektorielt samlingspunkt, med gode tilrettelagte arbeidsforhold for kulturprodusenter og sosialentreprenører. Sparebankstiftelsen DNB ønsker å fylle dette tomrommet som et supplement til de eksisterende initiativene i byen. Gamle Christiania Sparebank er nå under total innvendig renovering, og ved åpning i 2016 vil huset stå med konsertsal, restaurant, øvingsrom, dansesal, prosjektrom og over 250 kontorplasser. Sentralen skal bli et hus tilpasset de organisasjonene som trenger fleksible arbeidsforhold, der man kan dyrke delingskultur og samarbeid på tvers av sjangre og målgrupper, med etablerte institusjoner side om side med aktører i oppstartsfasen. Prosjektet eies og drives av Sparebankstiftelsen DNB som viderefører Christiania Sparebanks tradisjoner for støtte til allmennyttige formål."
