Grafill Stavanger: Talk with Illustrator and designer Patryk Hardziej
Patryk Hardziej Studio deals with graphic design and illustration including: album covers, visual identity of cultural events, logo, books, exhibitions, as well as training and consulting in the field of design.
Hardziej will talk about his work and how it is to be an illustrator, researcher and graphic designer at the same time. He will also focus on these questions:
- Do we still need masters?
- Is it good to be analog in digital world?
- "Design” or "not to design”?
- And why "not to design”?
Patryk Hardziej is an international, multidisciplinary illustrator, graphic designer and researcher. Lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk and founder of courses under the patronage of Karol Śliwka "Art of Design". An originator and curator of "The Second Polish Exhibition of Graphic Marks", an international exhibition of Polish design held in five countries. He has a co-operation among others, including brands and institutions such as Amnesty International, British Airways, BMW, Mini, New Scientist Magazine, Ministry of Civil Defence & Emergency Management of New Zealand
