Annie Atkins har spesialisert seg innenfor grafisk design for film og tv-serier og har opparbeidet seg en imponerende portfolio. Hun er best kjent for sitt nydelige arbeid som lead graphic designer på The Grand Budapest Hotel av Wes Anderson. En film som bla. vant en Oscar for Best Achievement in Production Design.

I dette foredraget får du et godt innblikk i hvordan det er å jobbe som grafisk designer innenfor filmproduksjon.

Grafill Bergen invites you to an amazing Weekend Workshop with Annie Atkins.

Telegrams, love letters, prison escape maps... it’s not just the movie poster a graphic designer makes, but also any paper props that the actors work with on set. But how do you start designing graphics that can help tell a director’s story, as well as contributing to the genre, period, and visual aesthetic of a film?

Annie Atkins specialise in graphics for filmmaking, which means that as well as creating artwork for movie posters, she also make any graphic pieces outlined by a period film script – like prison escape maps and telegrams to help create Wes Anderson’s fictional State of Zubrowka in The Grand Budapest Hotel; or neon shopfront signs and fake passports for Spielberg’s Bridge of Spies.
