Every year The European Design Awards celebrate outstanding work in the field of communication design. The Award Show and Party Saturday night take place at an amazing Oslo harbour venue called Skur 13. It will be a blast. Remember to bring your dancing shoes and get your groove on!

In their 12th edition the European Design Awards received submissions from 39 different countries. From Iceland to Cyprus and from Portugal to Russia, creative agencies, design studios and freelancers submitted a great part of last year’s creative production under 42 different categories, covering everything from branding and packaging to illustration and the digital applications.

A team of design critics, journalists from design trade magazines and academics, came together to what is known as the most qualified jury in the industry, to decide on the best of the best. The results of their judgement is to be announced on Saturday June the 2nd in Oslo.

The 12th ED-Awards ceremony will be hosted by British stand up comedian, Alistair Williams, in what promises to be an exceptional gathering of Europe’s most creative people.
