Design vs Music i Tromsø 24. oktober
Design vs Music is an annual graphic-design lecture as part of the Insomnia festival in Tromsø, Northern Norway. In 2014 with talks by Johan Nijhoff (Lava, NL), Alexander Nagel (Serviceplan, D), Mirko Borsche (Bureau Mirko Borsche, D) and Hjalti Karlsson (Karlsson & Wilker, NYC).

It all started in 2004 when Tank Design was asked to contribute an input as a partner to the festival. Being responsible for the festivals design, Tank since then uses this possibility to communicate their field of work and the process of design to the public, and to get a lot of good inspiration.
When thinking about graphic design, Tromsø seems to be a bit off the grid, since Design-culture happens – or asumes to happen – mostly in big cities with its hundreds of agencies and studios from 1 to more than 1.000 employees, its clients and many design-students due to the educational institutions.
Design vs Music wants to bring a taste of that culture to town. Get an insight-look on graphic-design and enjoy an afternoon full of stories, great design and inspiration with us!
